Growing up Bodacious!
Every puppy has a story, and sometimes that story begins with a name.
Over the years, many of our dogs have been given names inspired by gemstones or distinguished, regal themes—names like
Ebony, Winston, Sapphire, and Emerald.
When this litter arrived, however, inspiration came from one of my favorite television series, NCIS. That's how Deeks, Kensie,
and Gibbs received their call names —after the characters Marty Deeks, Kensi Blye, and Leroy Jethro Gibbs..
Jewel was the exception. Her name fit perfectly with the gemstone tradition, making her the one who quietly bridged the old
naming style with the new.
While not every Bearded Collie is destined for the show ring, every one leaves a special paw print on the hearts of those who
know them. Jewel, Gibbs, and Kensie are wonderful examples of the loving, playful, and devoted nature that makes the breed
so special.
Each has a unique personality. Whether making us laugh with their antics, enjoying time with family, or simply reminding us to
appreciate life's everyday moments, they bring joy in countless ways. Their happy spirits, affectionate temperaments, and
unmistakable Beardie charm make them just as treasured as any champion.
Together, they are a cherished part of the Bodacious Beardies family and a daily reminder that the greatest accomplishments
are often measured in love, companionship, and the memories we share.
