Hermosa Mtn Colquhoun McDuff affectionately known as "Calhoun," was an extraordinary Bearded Collie whose influence reached far beyond the show ring. A Best in Specialty Show winner, Calhoun earned Best of Breed at the 1997 Bearded Collie Club of America National Specialty, one of the breed's most prestigious accomplishments. His many Register of Merit honors reflect the lasting impact he had as a sire, producing generations of accomplished Bearded Collies in both conformation and performance. Calhoun's legacy continues through the many outstanding dogs that followed, a testament to the quality, consistency, and versatility he passed on to his offspring. Calhoun holds a special place in our hearts as Winston's sire and Ebony's grand-sire. Through them, his influence became an important part of the history of Bodacious Beardies and the dogs we were privileged to own and love.
