A Princess in Every Way
Ebony truly lived up to her name. Sweet, loving, and gentle, she brought so much joy to our lives and remains deeply missed.
In August 2010, after several attempts to have puppies, Ebony developed pyometra and nearly lost her life. It was a frightening
time, and we were incredibly grateful when she recovered. Being able to enjoy her sweet personality for many more years was a
gift we never took for granted. She had a way of making us laugh and brightening even the most ordinary days.
More than just a special dog, Ebony connected me to a treasured friendship with her breeder. We shared countless conversations
about Bearded Collies, breeding, pedigrees, and life in general. Two years after Ebony passed away, her breeder also left us.
Losing both of them left an emptiness that can never quite be filled.
When I think of Ebony, I remember not only the wonderful dog she was, but also the friendship she brought into my life. I miss
them both—the wagging tail at my feet, the familiar voice on the phone, and the many conversations that seemed like they would
last forever. ❤
