In 2020, Emerald, one of my beloved Bearded Collies, had the honor of being selected to appear in photographer Randal Ford’s highly anticipated book about dogs. It was an exciting experience and a proud moment for our family to see Emmy chosen for this special project. The photoshoot was a wonderful experience, and Emerald handled it like a pro. EMERALD (Emmy) Joins our Family
In 2018, I was blessed to bring home a Bearded Collie puppy. From the very first photos, I was smitten, and by the time I finally met “Yellow” (her collar color at the time), I knew she was the one. I was completely in love with my sweet Emmy and she quickly became a cherished member of our family. Even now, thinking about her fills my heart with joy. Visiting the litter was such a special experience. Being surrounded by all those adorable puppies and their unique little personalities was unforgettable! But Emerald always stood out. She was the first to greet me, the one who chose to sit with me, as if she knew we belonged together. From the beginning, our bond was undeniable. Looking back at those early pictures, I can clearly see how she wrapped me around her paw and captured my heart. Those precious moments marked the start of a wonderful journey that continues to bring happiness every day. I am so proud and honored that Emmy became part of our family. She comes from Dreamchaser Kennel, and her mother, Shelby Ann, is Sapphire’s sister. Her father, Rony, is from Europe and earned numerous titles, including a World Dog Show winner. Emerald’s Dog Show Debut
Emerald has always enjoyed putting her natural Bearded Collie instincts to work. Watching her learn and develop her herding skills has been
both exciting and rewarding. Herding provides an opportunity for her to use her intelligence, focus, and natural abilities while building
confidence and strengthening our partnership.
Over the years, Emerald has participated in herding training and events, gaining valuable experience working with livestock. Whether she is
learning new skills or enjoying time in the field, her enthusiasm and determination are always evident.

Bringing Comfort and Smiles Since 2022
Emerald began her pet therapy journey in 2022 and has brought comfort, companionship, and joy to countless people through her
visits. Whether meeting patients, seniors, healthcare staff, or community members, she has a special way of making people smile.
As a certified therapy dog, Emerald enjoys sharing her gentle nature and affectionate personality with everyone she meets. Watching
the connections she makes during visits is incredibly rewarding. A simple visit, wagging tail, or quiet moment together can brighten
someone's day and create lasting memories.
Since becoming a therapy dog, Emerald has visited hospitals, healthcare facilities, and community programs throughout the Los
Angeles area, providing comfort and companionship wherever she goes. Her friendly spirit and loving nature make her a wonderful
ambassador for pet therapy.
Pet therapy has become an important part of Emerald's life, and I am proud to share this journey with her. Seeing the joy on someone's
face when Emerald walks into a room is one of the most rewarding experiences we share together. The photos below capture some of
