A Dream Come True

In 2021, Emerald and Z welcomed a beautiful litter of puppies. There were two girls in the litter, and for the first eight weeks I was convinced that Pixie would be the one staying at Bodacious Beardies. My daughter, Sarah, disagreed. From the very beginning, she believed Tootsie was the puppy who belonged here. When evaluation day arrived, Tootsie made her case. She was the puppy who best fit our breeding program, and the decision became clear. Tootsie, officially known as *Bodacious Dreamz Do Come True*, became our first homebred girl and a very special milestone for Bodacious Beardies. Growing up alongside her mother, Emerald, and Sapphire, Emerald's aunt, Tootsie has been surrounded by generations of family. Watching her mature has been one of the greatest joys of our breeding journey. Tootsie quickly proved that she was as talented as she was lovable. At a young age, she earned an impressive collection of titles and enthusiastically tackled every new challenge we placed before her. She seemed to enjoy every moment of learning and working with us. She is as sweet as they come, full of personality, and one of the funniest dogs I've ever owned. Whether she's making us laugh with her antics or curling up for affection, Tootsie brings happiness wherever she goes. Earning her AKC Championship was a proud accomplishment and an especially meaningful one as our first homebred champion. Looking back, it is hard to imagine Bodacious Beardies without her. I would love to see Tootsie become a certified therapy dog one day. She certainly has the temperament and heart for it. Whatever the future holds, Tootsie has already exceeded every expectation and continues to be exactly what her name promised—a dream come true.
